Tennessee’s Dalton Knecht put up an impressive 37 points in his final game, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Edey’s dominance. The Boilermakers outrebounded the Vols 47-26, and Edey’s 16 rebounds further solidified their victory12.

Zachry Cheyne Edey  born May 14, 2002) is a Canadian college basketball player for the Purdue Boilermakers of the Big Ten Conference. He is listed at 7 feet 4 inches (2.24 meters), making him the tallest player in Big Ten history. At the close of the 2023 season, Edey was named the Big Ten Player of the Year and consensus National Player of the Year. He repeated as Big Ten Player of the Year in 2024.
